The Sawmill Trust is a Charitable Trust that was established in 2019 to continue the legacy of Betty Messenger. The Trust aims to support charitable causes within the Parish of Stokenchurch.
Before opening up for grant applications the Trustees have been waiting for income to be generated via investments made using the initial donation to the Trust in 2019. It is the income from these investments that will allow the Trustees to make ongoing charitable grants to those, resident within the Parish of Stokenchurch, that are in need of support.
With the particularly challenging times some have experienced throughout the pandemic our Trustees wish to begin accepting applications for initial grants from those within the Parish that need our support.
The current fund available to the Trustees for charitable grants is modest in value so, although we shall review and consider all applications made, please do not be disappointed if we are unable to support you at this early stage of our charitbale endeavour.
